just a quikie, if HO refuse visa with rights for AR do they usually hold all the documents including passport?
Can one travel outside the country while AR is in process?

Also in regards to AR process, is this online only? or just the application is online and one will have to submit the physical application.

Do HO notifies the results by email?

lastly usually how long does it take to get a review

Mix of both... if you remember I asked a question on behalf of my friend as well.. she has been denied visa but I don't know full details why... she is taking legal advise..

I am asking hypothetically for myself if this happens to me, I would sincerely appreciate your feedback on those questions

Ask your friend to register on the forum and post her own questions as only she knows her full circumstances.

AR can take up to 28 days.

How long they hold your documents depends on if your visa has expired or not.

You should note that AR is only for when HO has made an error. AR won't help you if you fail to meet the requirements for ILR.

As I said I am not asking on her behalf and it is for my own self, should this happen to me I should be well prepared as we never thought her visa would ever be rejected and I think the same for me too...

She is been slightly disturbed with the outcome and now checking her options with legal counselors..

Her visa has not expired yet and I think she has until mid to late march as me so this means they can hold the docs uptil expiry of visa? and any insight why would they hold the docs..

So again is AR an online application or a postal application? how HO communicate during the review, by post, in-person or by email?
