Hi,

I got my ILR BRP in post today and found that it has an expiry date of 31-12-2024. My ILR was approved on 02-02-2018. So I was expecting it to be 01-02-2018.

Any idea why is this ?

As has been answered many times, it the the BRP card that expires and not ILR.

2024 is the year the EU has given for all documents that hold biometric data to be updated with new security features etc.
