Subject: Gap of 2 months 20 days - Indefinite Leave to Remain

Is it a good idea to submit Set (Leave to remain) application in the following condition:

Visa expiry: 31st July

10th year anniversary: 20th October (This date is after subtracting 28 days)

There is a gap of 2 months 20 days before I am eligible to apply for the indefinite leave to remain.

What's the most viable way to cover such a brief gap?

If Set (Leave to Remain is not the correct application), which visa application should I submit to cover such a brief period?

Hi @Zimba88,

Thank you for your reply.

Tier 4 between 2008 - 2010
PSW between 2011 - 2012
Tier 4 from 2013 - May 2018

Gap is of 2 months 20 days before I am eligible to apply.

What the best way to cover this period, if I cannot be on Tier 4 as I will be finishing my course soon?

Many thanks in anticipation. Cheers!

Apply for FLR(FP) before expiry, then vary to SET(LR) when eligible

Should I simply state that I m filing the FLR (FP) application because I have close associations in the UK and also because I will be eligible to apply for the ILR in 2.5 months?
