Hi admin and moderator

i need a advise i am going to apply ILR on the basis of 10 years long residency i have few question in mind mind before i booked pso appointment

1: i have spend more then 180 days in 12 month but its not in one time 157 days out then came back uk spend 40 days here and went back to back home again due to father serious illness.
2: i am out off 540 days in last 10 years too
3: dues to father serious illness i was only one child who was there as a career and attend k if i ask for
would you be think if i ask for discretion from home office would the accept it.

much appreciated if any one reply and had same problem and got ILR outside immigration rules ??

What about your father's siblings? Your mother?

she is old enough and also on medication ..

sadly father passed away last year in November

and i came back in uk
i been away more then 180 in one year period since last 10 years.
my one trip is less then 180 days in previous 10 years

I am sorry about that but unforutnately UK home office is quite strict on 180 days absense. If you really feel you have strong case then try it may get help from professional advisors

I think in Exceptional Circumstances the 180 day rule can be waived. See page 18.

It is not a guarantee. Many members have been refused even with exceptionally compassionate reasons (parents with cancer and eventual death for example).

If you have a genuine case and you have all the documents related your father sickness and his death certificate etc there is a strong chnce you will get ilr on the window.

I had a similar case please check my previous post and I got ilr last year sep Oct. best of luck

I got all medication reports certificates and letters from doctors also had all medications prescription
I am going at pso pray for me
Also which premieres service centre you went it for your ILR if you don’t mind thansk
