Hi all, I have been reading online and there is something I cannot put together.

My name is Nick, I am a Romanian citizen, I have been working and living in the UK for almost 4 years.

I only left the UK for a total of 2 weeks in all this time.

I might need to leave this year for almost 4 months in Romania and I need to know if this will reset the 5 years clock towards applying for settled status.

Please help me as I need to leave the UK for this time but I also need the settled status.

Thank you,
Nick

I don't know the rules for Romanian citizens.

I do know that 2 weeks + 4 months is not 450 days nor 180 days

This is what I am asking. How much can I be out of the UK in one year to be eligible for settled status? I read about 90 days, 180 days... it is confusing.

@seasky I don't mean to be rude but you gave me 3 answers that simply don't tell me nor anyone else anything. Thank you.

You put a title that had little to do with the body. I helped clarify it. Now wait patiently.
