Hello Guys,

It's been 22 months since I applied for ILR SET(O) under the Tier1 General route and had an interview with UKVI during Apr 2017 but still haven't received a decision on my case. My case isn't complex in the first place but even then 22 months is far tooo long to be stuck without passport. Just wondering if anybody else in the same boat as me.
I've wrote to my local MP during Dec 2017 with my case but at the end he just sent me the same generic reply UKVI sends us if we enquire them about our case -
"as your case is exceptionally complex, we cannot decide within normal timelines...."

I'm desperate to visit my family back home and its so depressing to be stuck without an answer for 2yrs. It would be great if you guys can advice if there is anything I can do to expedite my case. My solicitor is not being helpful and is just sending out a standard whats happening with our case posts to UKVI and they are giving the same generic reply!

Well, finallyyyy.....my ILR has been successful & received an email confirmation within an hour of my previous post LOL!

My sincere thanks to the site's gurus & all the people who shared their experiences and offered fantastic advice!! Need some time to feel my feet back on Earth lol! All the best & my sincere prayers for those who are still waiting!!

I have apply for ilr april/2016 ( tier1 G to ilr completed 5 years) it was self employee and payee.done the biometric 5 may 2016.and then we had a letter on October 2016 asking about our kids application.then we reply to them back we going to apply for them after we get the ilr. Had an interview march 2017.and my 10 years is completed January 2018.still waiting for the decision
Do I need to apply for long residency?or is anybody get the visa after 2 years?
