Hi,
I have 2 questions.
1.Employment letter stating "permanent contract" is enough or do we have to
have the specific wording in the "foreseeable future"?
2.For proof of english can an old IELTS used for point based system when
getting the visa first be used again?
thanks once again
Masha

1. I think any wording along the lines of declaring that your employer is willing to continue your employment indefinitely should be acceptable.
2. You can use your previous IELTS only if it still appears on the list of approved English language qualifications linked below. It is however, unlikely to be on the list if it does not have a SELT reference number.

This is there in the guidance form.
If your qualification has run out
Some recognised test qualifications only last for 2 years. You can still use a B1 level qualification that you took more than 2 years ago in 2 situations.
Applying for citizenship
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if you’re applying for citizenship and it was accepted when you settled in the UK.
It doesn’t matter if the B1 level test you took isn’t on the current list of recognised tests. You don’t need to take another test.
Applying to settle in the UK
You can use a B1 level qualification that’s run out if both of the following are true:
it’s on the current list of recognised tests
it was accepted for another UK immigration application, eg when you got permission to enter

Hi,
Just wanted to share my experience.
Application was successful using the old IELTS used for entry clearance english requirement category.
The test centre is in the list of new SELT centres but the report was old.
Thanks for all the help...
Masha.

Hi GMO,
Yes, if you have the latest proof of english (UK degree) that can be used.
Some people used IELTS or other sources of english proof for entry clearance for points based system. So if that test is there in the present list of recognised exams either in the UK website or in appendix o of immigration rules and if the exam centre that was used for the test is on the latest list of exam centres then it's possible to use that for people not having a UK based degree.
This does not apply to dependent's. Only the main applicant.
Hope I am clear.
All the best
Masha

question on dependent ILR and children's citizenship?

Hi,
please forgive me if I'm asking this question here but I wanted to continue with my queries on my own post.
i have 2 question
1) Do we have to provide with my original BPR for children's citizenship application as well as partner's ILR application?
2) Can both applications be posted to the same place or different places if not will we have to wait for results of one application(eg-Dependant's ILR) to apply for the other one(Children's citizenship)?
Thank you
Masha
