180 day absences after 11 jan 2018

HI
i got my ilr through tier 1 g.
my wife will qualifying for ILR MAR 2019.
She came uk tier 1 g dependant visa feb 2014 no absences until 5 feb 2018.
from 5 feb 2018 until 30 sep she will be out for 8 months.
is this ok for her ILR? ( NEW RULE)

Depends on when her last leave was granted? If it was granted after 11 Jan 2018 then it will be an issue, if her leave was issued prior to 11 Jan 2018 then absenses do not count towards the 180 day limit

Here is the confirmation
(2) any absence from the UK during periods of leave granted under the Rules in place before 11 January 2018 shall not count towards the 180 days.
