Tier 2 dependant eligible for ilr-10year route but main visa holder and child (another dependent not)

Hi,

Would be grateful for insights to our situation.

Tier 2 holder- in UK<5 years so not eligible for ILR
Dependent 1- partner of main visa holder and has been in UK >10 years on multiple visas:T4 then 2 then now a T2 dependent. Satisfies ILR
Dependent 2- child less than 2 years old. Definitely doesn’t satisfy ILR.

Given visa costs are rather high, what is the optimum way for the whole family to get ILR?

Option 1: Dependent 1 apply for ILR independently. Then when T2 holder qualifies for ILR to apply with Dependent 2

Option 2: Dependent 1 apply for ILR with Dependent 2 while T2 waits till qualify for ILR? (Is this possible)

Option 3: T2 and Dependent 2 apply for ILR with Dependent 1. (Ideal but is this possible)

Thanks in advance!

A UK born child does not require ILR if you plan on registering the child as a British citizen.

Important to note that ILR based on 10 years long residence does not permit dependents to apply with the main applicant.
