Hi All,

Can you please help me in clarifying the below questions for Tier 2 General ILR application..

1. Do we need to get the employment and absence letters from previous employers too?

2. I was out of country for a month last year and out of this I was WFH for couple of weeks and was off for the rest 2 weeks.
With respect to this, when I take the absence letter from my current employer should they be mentioning the entire duration of my visit or only the 2 weeks which I have applied for leave?

Thanks

Yes ..You need to get the letters from previous employers. If your absence is less than 30 days its not a mandatory document. Please go through below link under "Absences linked to reason for being in the UK – evidential
requirements"

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... 6.0EXT.PDF

you need to have a letter for the whole month... your employer have to mention that you worked from remote location and you have been payed UK salary.

Thanks

@sparkyram,
If absence is less than 30 days and no need to submit letter is from the following lines from the link that you provided ?

"You still need evidence where the absences in a 12 month period (as defined above) exceed 30 working days plus statutory public holidays".
