Got our ILR approval letter within 3 months plus (Main applicant + PBS Dependant). All our hard work, effort, tears and investment finally paid off and we are over the moon. Send the documents requested as per the guidelines. No additional requested from UKVI.

We couldn’t have done it without the support of this forum. A huge shout out to Marcnath, Zimba88, CR001 - thanks a million for your valuable advice. You guys are the best & we are incredibly grateful to have folks like you who make such a positive impact on people's lives in this forum.

And to those planning to apply ILR under the 200K route, my advice to you would be the following:

* read the guidelines thoroughly (I read 3-4 times)
* make a checklist of documents required
* send only necessary documents required as per the guidelines. It's your choice should you wish to send additional documents
* use color-coded page dividers or folders for documents in each section and label each section clearly
* double check everything to make sure nothing is amiss
* make a photocopy of all documents for your safekeeping

Here's my document checklist under transitional arrangement 5 year route:
• Complete SET(O) Form – check UKVI website for the latest version
• Cover Letter (not mandatory)
• Life in the UK Test Pass notification letter (original + Photocopies)
• English language Test ( claimed exemption from providing evidence as my Degree was from a UK university)
• Two recent Passport-sized Photos (Full name written behind each photo)
• For Company Director : Printout from Companies House showing company's filing history page + personal appointments history + date of appointment as company director (on a date no earlier than 3 months prior to application date)

Job Creation Evidence under transitional route (please check for UKVI website for latest updates on Tier 1 Entrepreneur policy guidelines)
• Copies of British or EU Passports or UK registration certificate/permanent residence document (for EU citizens)showing biometric data page with photograph & personal details
• Printouts of Real Time Full Payment Submissions (FPS) showing total payments made to settled workers, income tax deductions & start/leave date of each settled worker
• Duplicate pay slips for each settled worker


• Passports and any previous passports used to travel to or remain in the UK (Original + Photocopies of personal detail pages)
• BRP Cards (Original + Photocopies)
• Cohabitation Evidence – UKVI Extension Approval Letter, Council Tax Bills, Bank Statements, Utility Bills etc
• Maintenance Funds (not a requirement for ILR, but I send bank statements to prove sufficient funds to maintain dependant & myself)

Marketing and promotional materials for business ( not compulsory)

Also, do you have a separate business office?

One more question, Did you submit photocopies of all documents?

Thank you sm12. Business bank account statements and Corporate Tax Return & VAT Return Acknowledgement Letter were sent during the extension stage. Not for ILR. I would strongly suggest you read the latest guidelines for any updates/changes.

Yes I have a business premise.

My understanding from reading other threads was that a business bank letter/statement and proof of registration with HMRC was required at the ILR stage, too.
But good to know that it didn't cause any issues.

Accountant's letter is only necessary if you took over an existing business. Maybe the senior gurus can confirm this.

2-My Brp card
3-Business partner's ilr copy as he was granted ilr on 10 years bases last year
4- life in uk test
5-Degree certificate from uni
6- corporation Tax documents for last 2 years
7-company certificate of incorporation
8- current appointment report and filing history of company
9-accountant letter confirming 2 full time jobs were maintained
10-financial statements and accounts compilation report , P11 , ct600
11- Business and different insurance
12-Rti full payment submission of employees
12 - duplicate payslips of all employees
13- Hmrc payee bills for last 2 years
14- British passports of employees
15- Google company information snapshot
16-Cover letter to caseworker .
My Business was in loss first three years and in profit from last 2 years .

And you sent accounts of the company again?

yes I sent the business bank statement for last two years aswell and two years accounts .
