Hi,
Can someone please help me?
I'm applying for the Indefinite leave to Remain (Long Residency). I have lived in the UK legally with a valid VISA for 10 Years. (4 years in student VISA, 2 years in the PSW VISA, 4 Years in the Tier 2 general VISA). I want to know what are the supporting documents I have to provide.
1. Filled application
2. All the passports I had within this 10 years?
3. BRP card?
4. 2 photos
5. Life in the UK test certificate
6. University (UK) degree certificate (as a proof of my English knowledge) ?
7. Do I need a letter from my current work place?
8. Do I need to provide payslips?
9. Do I need to provide bank statements ? If yes for how many months?
10. If I'm Married, my marriage certificate?
11. Do I need to provide proof of address for the whole 10 years?
12. Do I need to provide evidence for the absence from UK within that 10 years, (holidays to other countries)?
13. Do I need to include a cover letter? If yes what sort of information should I include in that?
Please help me with this.
Thanking you in advance.

keep it as simple as possible and only provide what is necessary.
keep all the documents but only provide the minimal documents required. if they will need any other document they will call you for it.

good luck

What is your full immigration history and visas you have held?
Any long absences??
You need to only submit what the form asks for usually.

My immigration history is;
17/01/2008- 10/01/2012 - Student VISA
10/02/2012 - 13/11/2016 - TIER 1 Post Study VISA
13/11/2016 - present - Tier 2 General VISA.
I don't have long absences. However every year I've been back to my country to see my parents. 3 weeks maximum stay.

12. Do I need to provide evidence for the absence from UK within that 10 years, (holidays to other countries)?
Optional: For a safer side, Inclde a letter of absence from UK in form of a letter and show any itenary for to and fro travel
13. Do I need to include a cover letter?
Though it is not mandatory, It is always a good idea to include a cover letter summarising what documents you submit with application, For what purpose it is being submitted and any explanation you wish to disclose to the caseworker

Thank you all ! My application is approved. Since I went for the premium service I got the decision on the same day within couple of hours.
If this helps anyone else,
I didn’t submit any evidence as to prove my 10 year stay in the UK. I however had them with me on the day, just in case if they ask for them but they didn’t. I had a list of absence in a letter. But I don’t know if they checked it. However there was a section within the application where u anyway have to list. I did take copies of my passports current BRP card, degree certificate which they’ve taken. My tip is carry an organised folder with a content page in the front. That’s what I did. And that was easy for them. And also when you book the premium service appointment at the end you get 2 documents (checking list & application). You have to download them , print and take them with you. When I booked the appointment I was expecting to pay £2999 (£2389+£610). But may be because the system wasn’t updated for the new VISA fee (I don’t know for sure), it didn’t let me the full amount. However at the appointment I was able to pay the balance off.
Hope this help someone. Once again thank you all who replied me.
