Hello guys,

I'm going to apply for the ILR (spouse) application via premium centre in Croydon.
I have a few questions regarding the SET(M) application form.

1. I came in UK on December 2012 under Fiancee visa (which I applied before 8 July 2012) and then got married in UK in Feb 2013 and applied for the Marriage visa FLR(M). I have completed the 5 Years and now applying for ILR. So my question is do I need to fill the Section 8A of SET(M) form as I came in UK before the 8 July 2012?
2. Under Section 6, 9. Give details where your fingerprints were taken, including the town or city and country
I can' remember exactly in which post office I gave the fingerprints. Can i ring UKBA or Postoffice to get this information?

Presumably you had 2 x 2.5 year spouse visas, so you apply under the new 5 year route and complete all the relevant sections.

No you cannot phone HO for this information. You don't have to specifically name the post office, town and date is fine.

Yes I have already got 2 x 2.5 years of spouse visa and last 2.5 year visa is going to expire next month.

I'm bit confused for this section 8A Financial requirements

SECTION 8A: FINANCIAL REQUIREMENT
If you were granted leave to enter or remain as a partner before 9 July 2012 and have not been granted
or refused under another part of the Immigration Rules or outside of your original route to settlement
under Part 8 of the Immigration Rules, you are not required to complete section 8A, proceed to Section
8B MAINTENANCE

So as above it states if I was granted leave to enter visa before 9 july 2012 then I don't need to fill the Section 8A. So i'm not sure if the Fiancee visa which I applied before 9 july 2012 still counts?

It counts from when you got your first spouse visa. Fiance visas don't count towards the 5 years.

If you were under the pre July 2012 rules, you would have received a 27 month spouse visa not a 2.5 plus 2.5 year ones.
