Hi,

Thank tou for your attention. I am on FLR(M) second period and expires next July(more than 1 year left)
However, I want to prepare in advance.

1. I have a qualification functional skills Level 2 in Enlgish and am attending a course in the College in Housing Level 3(equibulant to A-level or NVQ level 3, SVQ3 or level 6 on SCQF.) Do I still need an English test?

2. Do I need Life in the UK test as well? If yes, Can I take it now for next year?

3. How much is the financial requirement for ILR only with savings? I have a son.

4. What form should I use after FLR(M)?

I appreciate if you could answer above questions.

Thank you.

P.S.

5. I have been in the UK since June 2012(students visa for about 1.5 years) and will have holding a spouse visa for more than 5 years by the time I apply for ILR.
Do I need at least 12 months holding ILR to apply BC and then apply for British passport?

You can’t use qualifications like GCSEs, A levels or National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
UKVI acceptable tests: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.u ... entres.pdf
2. Do I need Life in the UK test as well? If yes, Can I take it now for next year?
Yes you can get it now. It is valid forever

ILR has no financial requirement Under SET(M), same as the FLR(M)
4. What form should I use after FLR(M)?
SET(M)
5. I have been in the UK since June 2012(students visa for about 1.5 years) and will have holding a spouse visa for more than 5 years by the time I apply for ILR.

If your spouse is NOT a British national, yes. You need 12 months without any immigration restrictions.
Otherwise you can get BC immediately after ILR

3. Just a correction on this question, for ILR based on Set(M), you still have to meet the financial requirements of £18,600pa and submit evidence for a minimum of 6 months.
