Hi all,

Quick one - I'm planning to use my last two tenancy agreements as proof of cohabitation with my wife (we're applying for ILR from a tier 2 and she's my dependant).

Only question is that both my last tenancy agreements were digital documents, with digital versions of both our and our landlord's signatures (it even says docusigned around it).

Is that an issue as proof of residence? Would they require physical signatures?

I used the same without any issues, you could also use council tax bills.

Thanks - I am using council tax bills, but with the requirement to have correspondence from various sources, I thought tenancy agreement could be a good additional one. Did you actually use a printed digital version without physical signatures?

Yes mine were digitally signed as well, since 2015 onwards mostly all tenancy agreements are digitally signed. You could use any and as many documents which provide same address like letters from a GP, we also submitted joint account statements.

We provided joint bank statement, CT BILL, Tenancy Agreement.
