Hello

My wife is due to apply for ilr 5 year route in beggining of july 2018 and we will go in person to apply . I just had one question about meeting the financial requirements ,
My wife has been working only part time and at the moment she has taken maternity leave this month , with her income she doesn't reach the threshhold . I am her sponsor and i do exceed the financial threshold through employment earnings Can we only declare my earnings and it will be it ? or do we have to declare both our earnings regardless of how much she earns ? I would prefer to declare only mine as we did both she has then to ask for maternity paperwork from her employer etc... which is not very convinient ...
Thanks for your help

If you meet the requirement, then yes, declare your income and provide your payslips and bank statements.

There is no rule that says it must be the applicants income only.

Hello

I am a bit confused on documents that they need as ;
Evidence of you or partner’s parental responsibility for the child
Evidence of where you and /or any partner lives , as the parent of the child
Evidence of where your child normally lives and the the parents play an active role in the upbringing , this evidence should be dated within the last 3 months ...

We have a 2 year old daughter born in uk and has british citizen ship since birth

Please can you advise what documents they need as per above , we understand they need the birth certificate and passport which we have them .

Thanks in advance
