Hi,

I am looking to apply for ILR in a few months. I would like to know if there is a minimum bank balance I have to maintain for 3 months before the application?

Thanks,
Tarun.

There is no '90 days maintenance fund' requirement for ILR from PBS routes.

You must however meet the minimum income for ILR.

Hi CR001,

Thanks for the prompt reply. As far as I understand, there is still a requirement to submit 3 months of bank statements (I might be wrong). What does that entail? Is it to prove availability of funds etc?

Thanks,
Tarun.

You are required to submit payslips and bank statements to prove you meet the income requirement for ILR and can maintain yourselves. There is no 'minimum balance' requirement.

3 Months salary increase

Hi,

I am planning to apply for ILR in the 1st week of July 2018. My current salary is £2500 less than the £35,500 requirement for ILR.

If my salary is increased for May & June (any maybe a post dated one for April as well) to £36,000, is that acceptable for ILR? Or would a increase of £2500/£3000 for just 2/3 months raise red flags with the Visa Office?

Thanks,
T

Pension deductions for pay requirement

Hi,

I am applying for ILR from Tier 2. In the SET(O) form I need to complete the query about : "If so, what is your pay each month after income tax and other deductions?".

Do I need to write the amount after I deduct my pension contribution or without deducting pension contribution? i.e do "other deductions" include pension contribution deductions that reflect in my payslip?

Thanks,
Tarun.

It is your net pay, i.e. take home pay that you get in your bank account after deductions.

Hi,

I have a query whether bank statements from 2 different banks can be submitted for ILR? I have one for my salary & one a SBI UK account.

I want to submit both, because the total amount I have access to will be higher then.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
T

HO is only interested in your salary, not in how much money you have.
