Hi Respected moderators and members,

I am a silent member of this forum and been following this forum since 6 years.I require your king guidance to proceed further,

My overview, Came to UK in Feb 2009 and currently on Tier 1 Entpreneur extension valid through Feb 2019.
I am eligible for SET LR from 15th Jan 2019 and eligible for SET O(Tier 1 Ent) on 12 Oct 2018.

I am confused to select the route obtain ILR, I have 1 dependant here and we both can fulfill financial req of FLRM easily and at the same time i have met with all the requirements like Job creation , Business activity etc for Tier 1 Entrepreneur route.

Please help with your guidance

How long has your dependent been in the UK as your PBS Dependent?

Since 2012, She is also eligible for ILR with me on Tier 1 Ent Dependant ILR route but the issue is we want to go for straightforward route as you know Tier 1 Ent ILR is only postal application and again those stressfull days of extension and we have invested our life and money to get settled here and on the other hand we have same day service on LR route.

You can go whichever route you choose however, flr(m) for your dependents if you get ILR based on long residence, will reset their clock to zero and a new 5 year route ( 2 x 2.5 year visas) for ILR based on 5 years residence. They cannot count the time as PBS dependent to make up 5 years.

Yes I'm aware of this Flrm route, I am bending towards LR route as i can apply on sameday and the documentations is also less compared to Tier 1 ent ILR route. Please advice if it will be a wise decision.

There is no guarantee that you will get a same day decision and you need to be aware of this as HO might want to check that you met the requirements of all visas held while in the UK.

Thanks for your kind reply, It means there is no point of going for same day service.

I didn't say there was no point, only making you aware that same day decision is not guaranteed. Remember tier 1 ent is a complex route and HO might want to check things.

Agree with you,
Now I will again go in initial confused state...haha

Two of my friends got same day decision within 3 hours without any problem under LR.
Keep company CAR , employees docs and business insurance with you . If they want they would ask them otherwise sometime they dont ask a single extra thing.
