Covering Letter Format for ILR Application

The below covering letter was used when my wife applied for her ILR as a Tier 2 Dependent. As she had recently completed her Maternity Leave as well, some additional documents were included.

The staff at the application centre specifically asked if all documents and copies submitted have been listed on the cover letter alongwith a reason ‘why’. On answering yes, she did not bother checking the list/order and sent it straight to the caseworker.

I feel having a clear Cover Letter can help speed up the process.
