New Set (O) Form

Hi All,
Home Office released the new version of the SET (O) form today. Our appointment for PBS dependent in coming up on Monday. Do we need to print this new version? We have everything ready with 2 copies of filled forms of previous version. This last minute update is confusing without any guidance.

You can use the old form. HO gives applicants a 21 day grace period to use old forms.

Hi CR001. I’m in a similar position.
Could you please point me to the home office page re the 21 day guidance so I can take it as evidence just Incase they are being difficult at the PSC ?

Thanks

Don't worry, you can use the old form confidently. I had the same issue when a day before my appointment UKVI updated form to new version.

Does anyone know what the changes are? I have just filled out the old form and appointment is in 45 days time so looks like I am going to redo!!

Wonder if they ever make revisions the online form?!

I tried to do a manual page by page comparison, and only saw the following:
a) In section 6, page 21 Some clarification language added with respect to Jan 11, 2018 rule changes (e.g. based on the new rules, the 180 days absence is no longer based on rolling 12 months except when the last leave is granted after Jan 11)
b) They have done away with many things in Section 9 and it has become smaller (the total form is 8-9 pages smaller than previous version). Since we are only applying for dependents, Section 9 is not relevant so I did not dig into details.

Online form was always very clean and streamlined based on the new rules. I wish I used that while booking the PSC appointment!

Section 9 would likely be the removal of the Tier 1 General related stuff as this route is now closed completely.
