Tier -2 General to ILR

Hi Guys,
In 2015 while I completed the first 3 years in tier 2 general and after renewal for next three years in April 2015, I have not paid any taxes and NI for months of May, June and July. Then I changed employer and started paying taxes and NI from August payroll.
Do this 3 months of non-paid taxes cause any issue while I'm applying my ILR now?
Please help me to clear this doubt.

Are you PAYE? why this could happen? Do you have payroll for that 3 months? because you may be suspicious of no pay leave more than 28 days.

Thanks a lot for your reply Bro. Because the Company which I joined in May 2015 didn't run my payroll as I have not secured any contract jobs. Later while I got an opportunity from a different employer I started paying taxes normally.
thank you.

Were you sponsored by an umbrella company or third party and contracting??
Did you have to pay a monthly "fee" or "commission"?
This is illegal and not permitted on tier 2 general and a breach of your visa conditions.

How was it possible that you were on Tier 2 visa and didn't pay taxes and NI?

@CR0001 - Thanks a lot for your response and time. Yeah I was under umbrella company and I paid commision to the company but they didn't run my payroll.

@DJSuccess - thanks for your reply. The umbrella company issued me the start date as May 02 and until July resignation they didnt run the payroll for me. I have provided the P45 which I had on April 2015 to the new employer and started my new role. From August I had started paying taxes normally.

What you did is a breach of your visa conditions and not permitted at all on tier 2.
