Naric vs SELT

Hi guys
Looking for some help. I've just realised in eligible to apply for ILR and I don't want to waste any time. I've been through some examples on this forum of people who have successfully completed ILR application... Most have produced a NARIC letter. If I produce the SELT certificate then that should be enough to prove knowledge of language and I don't have to produce the NARIC certificate? Basically is it either NARIC or SELT and NARIC is not mandatory!

You need EITHER a UK NARIC ELA and Comparable OR a B1 SELT English test.
Also, kindly refrain from posting ILR questions in the Tier 2 Sub Forum. Topic moved to the ILR sub forum.

So i have a tier 2 general visa and i have completed 5 years in UK now.. so eligible for applying for ILR. I have always been with the same company and never moved however i have not applied for leave in the system always. So now the letter from the employer have not listed all the holidays that i have taken. There is also no option to go and retrospectively add the holidays in the system as well!
Now in the application letter after listing all your absences there is a question asking
What evidence will you provide to support the reasons for all absences from the UK and Crown Dependencies?
1. Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK and Crown Dependencies
2. Letter from applicant detailing any exceptionally harsh consequences to them caused by the change in the way absences from the UK are counted
3. Original official documents: (e.g. medical, birth or death certificates)
4. Letter from travel companies to evidence disruption to travel
5. Other
Which option do i select... cos i cant select option 1 and selecting any other is not really the case. All the absences were only holidays.

Applying for the SET (O) form for ILR after 5 years on Tier 2 general Visa. So the form asks for details on Do you have a degree that was taught in English?
The degree must be equivalent to a UK Bachelor's degree or above. If you have completed a research degree, the research must have been conducted in English.
If you select yes (which it is) then it asks if Does your degree meet the English language requirement for this visa?
Now i have a SELT certificate and i dont intend to get the NARIC certificate as well? What do i answer here?

Why are you posting from 3 different usernames asking the same questions, two of which were registered on the forum today??? This is NOT permitted on the forum and I suggest you decide which username you wish to keep.
