Dear All,

Please someone can give me advice on this situation. I am eligible for ILR on tier 2 route this September 2018. My wife was a tier 2 general visa holder from August 2013 to September 2016. Then She switched to become my dependent (tier 2 pbs) in September 2016. May I know if can use this 5 years to apply for ILR for her as my dependant??
Many thanks

Thank you for confirming this CR001.

Just to clarify - is this still the case as above despite the fact I got married in the uk and we’ve been living together since July 2013??

She needs to have held a PBS dependent visa for almost 5 years to qualify for ILR. Time spent on her own tier 2 general does not count to make up 5 years.

When you got married is irrelevant.
