Dear Sir / Madam,

I am new to this forum. Can you please help me for My ILR online application form.

Below are my details and questions:

1. I came to UK for Study in Sep 2008 and after successfully completed my degree I went back to my home country. I came back to UK after my marriage in 10 Sep 2013 on Tier 2 General Dep Visa. My Husband got ILR recently on Mar 2018. I am planning to apply for ILR in Sep 2018 as I will complete my 5 year in the UK.

Questions are:

1. Can I apply 28 days earlier ? from which date I can start my application do I need to count backwards from 10th / 11th Sep

2. I was trying complete my online application form and came across the following question.
Start Page had following question.

The person you are joining or accompanying - This section do I need to enter my Husband details?

Application Page:
When did you first enter the UK? (Required)
This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started.
- Do I need to enter the date when I came to UK for Study or 10th of Sep 2013 on Tier 2 General dep visa

Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?
Country you lived in
Date you lived there from
Date you lived there to
Reason you lived there

I was born in India. In the above question do I need to fill in this section for the Days outside of the UK for this 5 years on Tier 2 General Dep category or Do I need to include earlier also from Birth?
Do we need to fill in this section If I visited India for 1 month holiday also?

Many Thanks in advance.

Regards
Ap

Please note that we don't all have access to the online forms.

Which form are you completing?? Is it Set(O)??
1. Can I apply 28 days earlier ? from which date I can start my application do I need to count backwards from 10th / 11th Sep
Does one single day make such a difference? You can apply WITHIN 28 days before reaching 5 years since date of your first PBS Dependent start date.
2. I was trying complete my online application form and came across the following question.
Start Page had following question.

The person you are joining or accompanying - This section do I need to enter my Husband details?
Are you sure form Set(O) online asks for this as you are not 'joining or accompanying' anyone if you are applying for ILR.
Application Page:
When did you first enter the UK? (Required)
This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started. - Do I need to enter the date when I came to UK for Study or 10th of Sep 2013 on Tier 2 General dep visa
Your Tier 2 General dependent visa.

The question is quite clear. Simply state all countries you have lived in, including your country of origin. It is not asking for time spent on holiday.

Hi,

CR001 please can you also advise on above application detail.

I got one more question. I will be eligible to apply for ILR in Sep 2018, I was looking for the dates for the premium appointments but it tough to get the suitable dates. UKVI will consider 28 days before eligibility for submitting the online application or premium appointment day.

Kindly advice

Thanks & Regards

Hi

I am completing online application form for ILR. I came across Documents section with following question and had doubts. Please clarify.

My husband already got his ILR I am eligible for ILR only now.

"Consent for the Home Office to request verification checks for joint accounts or third party support"

1. Is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people? - YES/NO

We have utility bills named on me and my husband. So, do I need to say YES.

2. Does the account with the bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide you financial support? YES/NO
Is that they are asking if my husband as Sponsor ? What I need to select is that Yes/No

We have our names mentioned on our Utility, council tax and water bills.

Please kindly advice.

Regards
Ap

I just posted related documents for my PBS dependent SET(O) form. Wife already has citizenship.

Regarding documents, i didnt think much as i assumed they have simplified the ILR process.

If you navigate to mandatory and supporting document checklist once you finish form, it asks for no financial or other documents.

I simply posted my passport, photos, brp, LIfeInUK and B1 test cerrticiate.

had doubt about third party sponsor declaration as you... got signed by wife and attached 6 months joint bank statement for that.

In my opinion, there is no financial requirements for dependent SET(O) applications. I cross verified this in paper SET(O) section 5, where heading says this information is for primary migrants only.

Also, being married to British Citizen, it should be unlawful to put financial burden under EU freedom of movement rights, so i am sure all this doesn't matter much.

British citizens in the UK are not under EU freedom of movement rights, this applies equally to citizens of an EU country residing in the country of their nationality. Domestic immigration rules will apply and not EU freedom of movement rules.

Still,

After spending 7 years in this country, i believe in simple philosophy. If information is not asked, don't provide it. So if no financial requirements are asked during application, one shall not bother about it.

PBS applicants should show they can support themselves without recourse to public funds. There is no minimum income requirement as their is for spouse settlement visas.

Hi,
I noticed you don't like any advices but I have the same details as yours.I would appreciate it if you give me some hints. My husband is British citizen.
As a dependent I work myself but we pay the rent and expences together. In section 5.4 should I tick yes?
And provide his bank statements and payslip as well as mine?
Don't they want any documents regarding evidence of our marriage?

Thank you
