Settlement BRp received but no NIN

Hi

I'm hoping you could help clarify this for me. My ILR application was successful and I received the settlement BRP. I noticed that my NIN is not mentioned on the BRP card, as it was before when I was a Tier 2 general migrant.

Do I need to apply for a new NIN now that I received my ILR?

Thank you!

Did you not get a NI card when you arrived in the UK?

You only get one NIN anyway.

When I first arrived I applied for one and got an NIN. I don't remember a card, maybe just a letter.
I'm only confused because the NIN is not on my BRP, and I wasn't sure whether it should be :?

You should have got a card.

No it won't be on your ILR BRP. It is only printed on the tier 2 visas as far as I understand.

They do not issue cards (anymore).

CR001 is correct.

My Tier 2 BRP has a NIN. My ILR BRP via general tier 2 5 year route has no NIN listed.
I have subsequently received a payslip with my NIN on it.
I can safely assume that the ILR BRP does not contain the NIN.
Hope this helps.
