URGENT: Time between Life in the UK test and PSC appointment

Dear Gurus,

After so much trying I managed to book a PSC appointment for 28/08/2018 last night. My LIUK test is scheduled for 25/08/2018. The gov.uk says you can apply after 48 hours of your test. Could you please clarify if this is in working days or just hours? The above days also contain a bank holiday in between, so am I alright to go ahead? Or should I reschedule my PSC?

Thank you very much in advance.

Point 11 of the latest guidance notes clearly says you need to allow at least 2 working days between passing the test and attending your appointment. Don't risk it.

Also note that the chance of getting a later PSC appointment might be difficult.

Can you not move your test date forward by a couple of days??

Thank you very much. I am going to try and change the date for the PSC. I also called home office three times. The first person, a lady said it is 48 hours after the test (not working hours), the second person, a man said, it is two working days, so 48 working hours, then for the third time another lady said there is no definite yes and no, but you can explain at the PSC centre. But I will try to change it anyway, since it looks like a risk.

Which PSC centre do you think will be easy to reschedule?

Thank you very much.
