ILR (T2G) doc check

Hi,
I am preparing the docs for the ILR application. Though document checklist is pretty simple and straightforward but still have some queries, please.
1, P60 is not a mandatory document. But if I would like to submit last year p60 than anybody please tell me that last year p60 contains (April 17-April 18) last years tax information or it has some kinda summary or hints about previous years tax history as well?!!
2. In the bank statement, like if I submit last 6 months statement that it would be convenient and ok if I highlight the salary part with a highlighter in the original statement?
