Hi Everyone
I hope everyone is well. I have been going through the forum to try and find the answers to my questions but cant seem to find any. Hopefully someone can help.
My husband has his ILR appointment next week. He has been in the UK 5 years now on a spouse visa (me being his spouse). He has been working well over a year as a locum doctor. He gets paid weekly but each month he earns well over £1600.
My questions are:
1. On the set m form shall we put the income from his job as salaried employment?
2. He isn’t getting a fixed yearly rate but gets paid per hour. The amounts he got paid per week differ but each month totals up to well over £1600. How do we calculate his earnings?
3. Shall we include the salary slip where he got a tax rebate?
4. Finally can we still applying using Cat A as hes on a zero hours contract but he has 6 months salary slips?
Thank you and I hope someone can help.

I think Non-salaried , CAT ,B, because he ( or Both of you )does not earn £18600 in 6 months but he does in a year.

Hi bluebird12
He earned more than £18600 in the 6 months. Would that make it CAT A? Could we just submit 6 months payslips and bank statements?
So pay per hour on a zero hour contract is non salaried work?
Thank you for your help.

If he earns more than £18600 in 6 months and with same employer for last 6 months then CAT A .
Salaried Employees are who get fixed yearly contractual salary not per hour wages...

Thank you for your help. Just one last thing which I hope you or anyone else can help me with.
The form (set m) only has the following options
Income from salaried employment
Income from self employment
Income not from employment
Income from permitted benefits and pensions.
Where does the non salaried employment go?
