Dear community,
I am applying for ILR soon. I lost my passport and I have official documents justify that.
I still have the first passport that covers the first year when I entered the UK, but the lost passport covers a period of 5 years 2011-2015.

2 questions:
1. Will the case worker rely on the information I provide, or on the records they have in their system (entries/exits) ?

2. one of the justification documents is GP registration: Do I have to prove that I was registered or that I have attended the GP? I am thinking that being registered does not prove that I was here all the time?

Do you have a police report for the loss?
Do you now have a new passport? because you need to hold a valid passport to make your application.
Complete your absences as accurate as you can. You can add a cover letter to your application is you think the loss of your passport has affected the accuracy of the entry /exit dates.

How does GP registration justify the loss of your passport?

if you were referring to evidence of residency, your passport is not the only thing that shows you were legally living here. What were you doing between 2011 and 2015?
your HMRC records can show that you were working (if you were). Council tax, tenancy agreement, Bank statement and records etc.

Yes I do have a new passport and police report.
I was studying and I have letters from the schools/ universities that confirm ,y attendance and my graduations. After uni, I had about one year gap before I could find a job. I also have a couple of "0 hours" contracts to show I have done some temp work here and there. But these were short periods: temp work of up to two weeks.

Can they not check the entry/exit information they have in their system to find all the info?

Also, GP registration letters to show I was registered during that year as stated in their list of documents if passport not present.

Like I said earlier, there is a section in the application form that asks for your absences. Complete it as accurate as you can. The HO can always verify your absences, so don't think too much about it. And with respect to your lost passport, there shouldn't be any issue since you have a police report. The HO can also verify the years you were studying.
