Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK - Has an expiry date?

Hello everyone,

I have been living in the UK for over 3 years now and I have seen on my passport and UK ILR Visa the same expiry dates. Do you know if this means I will have to reapply for a new ILR visa or does it renew when I just renew my passport?

Anyone been through this can you please share your experience? Thanks! :D

Traveling outside Europe for a holiday with UK ILR Visa

Hello everyone!

I have a Philippine Passport and live in Northern Ireland with a UK ILR Visa.

I am planning on traveling back to the Philippines in 2019 and was wondering whether I can use the Dublin International airport to travel in and out?

We are just using Dublin to get the flights as it is cheaper than flying to London and then Philippines and back. However, I’m just worried that they might not allow me to return through Dublin because I only have a UK ILR VISA and Dublin is not part of the UK.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Yes. However, you require a multiple tourist visa for Ireland.
