Tier 2 - ILR on 5 year route - Payslip questions

Dear all,

My premium service center application based on 5 years on Tier 2 (initial visa on 29/Nov/2013, current expiry date is 03/July/2019) is on 10th November 2018. As you can understand, very stressed and nervous about it. I am literally reading Set (O) form everyday and have couple of questions.

1. Payslip: Your most recent payslip and your most recent bank/ building society statement. These must
be dated no earlier than one calendar month before the date of the application. This is from section 12C of the latest Set (O) - settlement document, version 07/2018, page 69.

If UKVI asks only for the latest payslip, why almost everyone I have seen here takes 3 months payslip and 3 month's statement? some people also take P60s and letters from HMRC certifying taxes over the past 5 years. Are not these overkill? or am I missing a trick here?

2. Payslip 2: My company does not provide paper payslips. It's an Oracle system where payslip can be generated and printed. Since my employer will be certifying my salary on a company letter headed paper including SOC code, absences etc. In this case do I also need this generated payslip verified using a separate letter?

Many thanks for your insights in advance.

Best wishes
Andy

I wondered the same thing about the 3 months of bank statements for Set O when it asks for 1 month!

As for the payslips, I am just printing mine. I also do not actually receive a payslip but matched with the letter from my employer as well as a bank statement, it's obvious to see that it's real (it also has my NIN and every single other important detail)
