ILR application Tier 2 dependent renewal

Hi,
My wife and I currently hold Tier 2 visa valid until 23/03/2020.
I landed in UK on 24th April 2014 and so I believe I can apply for ILR after 24th April 2019 (5 years).
But for my wife, her first entry in UK with Tier 2 dependednt visa (before that it was a Visit visa) was on 15th June 2015, so she will not complete 5 years by 23/03/2020 - ie 3 months short.
What is the best way to proceed?
Should I go for ILR in 2019 and will that change her visa status and reset the clock (wait again for 5 years?)
Or can we both apply together in 2020 - I believe that is not possible.
Hope someone here was in similar situatution and would link to know how they proceeded.
Thanks alot in advance!

Your start date is the date your visa was issued not your entry to the UK date. You have not stated what these dates are.

If your spouse doesn't qualify for ILR, she will have to apply for a PBS dependent extension.

Thanks for the reply.
My visa was issued on 10/03/2014 and my wife's 1st BRP says 04/06/2015 as date of issue.

So those are the dates you use.

You can apply no sooner than within 28 days before 10/3/2019 and your spouse can apply no sooner than within 28 days before 4/6/2020.

Thanks again!
So when I apply for ILR what will happen to my wife visa? Will she have to change visa type or can she continue with Tier 2 dependent visa till 2020. Which visa type will she have to apply when her tier2 dependent visa expires on 23/03/2020?

She can continue on her current visa and extend her tier 2 dependent visa until she qualifies for ILR.
