BRP Indefinite leave to remain

My BRP card which is ILR has already expired, can I renew without any conflict? And if so what application form should I use? Lastly how long does the process take? When would I get the renewed card? Thank you alot!

How come your ILR BRP expired?
Did you leave the country?
It might be nice if you provide more background information and immigration history.

Sorry, it’s the card that’s expired. I read from other forums that it only has an expiration date because the picture needs updated, so I don’t really know which application I will need to do?

If you are in the UK and haven't been out of the UK continuously for more than 2 years,your status of ILR is still valid
Use the below form to apply for a new BRP

How come your ILR BRP expired?
Did you leave the country?

When was the BRP issued?
why did you wait for the BRP to expire?
if you are not interested in applying for citizenship then I guess you have to apply for another BRP.
