I got my first tier 2 visa on 18/10/2013
Arrived in UK on 10/01/2014
Want to apply for ILR .
Kindly help me in calculating my application date using the 28 days rule .

Your period started from 18/10/2013. The period between 18/10/2013 and 10/012014 will be counted as an absence for you. So you could have applied for ILR since 20th September 2018.


If you want to base your application the day you entered the UK, then you can apply from 13th December 2018

I have some other queries .
Can i still apply based on my first tier 2 visa issuance date or should do it on 13/12/18.

The 60 days rule for unemployment is applicable for those with cos issued in 2016 or would they be considered in the new law framework from 11/01/2018.

How early should one apply via the new system to get an appointment

You have been eligible for ILR since September as you can apply for ILR based on visa issue date (and 28 days before completing 5 years period).
There is no such thing as '60 days unemployment' rule or whatever

The form says I have to mentionyet the date I entered UK .
I do not have to write the date I was issued my first tier 2 visa .
I presume the home office is aware of my first tier 2 visa issuance date .
