Dependant ILR Application

Hello;
I have a question regarding my husband's application and I shall be greatly thankful if any moderator can help me with it please.
my husband is on Tier -1 general dependent visa, he has completed his 5 years. now we need to apply for his ILR, SET-O form is very confusing about financial requirements for his application. do we need to have maintenance funds for 90 days prior to his application, and is there any minimum income requirement for him?
please note that he came to UK as my dependant and I have now British passport. he is earning about 10K and I am off work due to maternity leave.
will this effect his application?
I called home office for help but they said I need to consult an immigration lawyer to check about maintenance.
any help will be much appreciated.
