Hi Zimba/Macnarth and dear members,

I have a question very confused, which date will be consider for my 10 Years qualifying period?

A) Date my first visa was stamp of UK 4 Feb 2009 - 28 days = 8 January 2019

B) Entery Date of UK 20 Feb 2009 - 28 Days = 24 January 2019.

I will be highly thankful if someone will clear this confusion to me, as I have consulted with some solicitors some are saying entry date some are saying visa stamp? I have to travel india urgently in Feb so for me every day will be very important and these 16 days will be very important. So if someone can guide me with facts that which data HO considers Data of entry or date of visa stamp?

Many Thanks

10 years long residence is counted from the date you ENTERED the UK and NOT the visa start date.
