Hi All,

My wife came here on spouse visa on November 2013( I had British passport). Now we need to apply her settlement visa as she has spent 5 years and last visa extion is going to expire soon . Could you please reply on my following questions?

- I think she is elibgilbel for Settlement (indefinate) after 5 years, is it correct?
- Which form she needs to submit ?
- She already done IELTS acadamic in 2013 with 7.5 band. Does she need to Pass again new english exam or she can show her expired IELTS certification?
- Is there any other requrments which I should aware of(she is going to attempt life in the uk test)?

I came cross this website and seems like she does not need to sit another exam again. She already passed IELTS certification with 7.5( academic) when she entered first time in this country in 2014.

My Mrs IELTS is expiring on the 05/04/2019
I am applying for her settlement visa next month.

Will this effect the application, as it is expiring in April this year?

Also just would like to know when Wife will be eligible for Naturalization or Citizenship?
Does she need to wait 12 months after ILR to apply for her Citizenship?

As soon as she has ILR and meets the 3 year residence requirement for citizenship to apply as spouse of BC.
