Hi Team,
I did go through several posts but could not find anything related. Please redirect me if there is any similar thread.

I have couple of queries regarding ILR application for my Child born outside of UK(4 Years old).
I am British Citizen (Route Tier-1 General)

Due to massive fees I am applying ILR separately for my wife and kid. Applied for my wife last month and she got ILR.
Have following queries for My Child application:

1. Public funds: I started claiming child benefit after becoming British Citizen.
Do you or anyone else who is part of this application receive any public funds?
I should say Yes or NO.

2. Absence History: Child was away from August 2018 to May 2018.
Does the period of stay on which this application was based include any leave granted since 11 January 2018?
Should I say Yes and fill in the absence history?

If Yes, What evidence should I provide?
Evidence of Absence:
Letter(s) from employer(s) detailing reasons for work-related absences including periods of paid annual leave from the UK and Crown Dependencies
Letter from applicant detailing any exceptionally harsh consequences to them caused by the change in the way absences from the UK are counted
Official documents: (e.g. medical, birth or death certificates)
Letter from travel companies to evidence disruption to travel
Other

Many thanks in advance.

1. Yes if the question relates to a PARENT claiming and NOT the applicant.

2. No absence evidence required.

Thanks CR001 for the quick response.

The question is:
Do you or anyone else who is part of this application receive any public funds?

Here Child is the applicant and I am the parent who is claiming the Child benefit.

So if only the child is applying and no one else, clearly the answer is NO then.

Hi CR001,

Hope you are doing well.

I have another query related to same application.

For following question,
The Person you are joining or Accompanying?
I should include Mine details who is British Citizen OR my Wife's who is on ILR now.

Can you please confirm?

Thanks.

Hi Members,

I am applying ILR only for my child now.

Question: The Person you are joining or Accompanying?
I am Father, British Citizen and My wife is on ILR issued last month.

I am assuming it's mine only as my Wife and Child were dependant to me and I did apply for my Wife and she got ILR but now that my wife is on ILR, it should be my Wife a sponsor for my child or Me or anyone of us?

Can you please clarify, if I should fill in my details or my wife details?

Many thanks.

Any moderators can you please help on this?

My Child application was refused in the past as I had made similar silly mistake and don't want to take any risk now.

Can you please spare 2 minutes of your time.

Thanks in advance.
