Dear board
This is for ILR application for main and dependent spouse. When we give consent (tick YES) for the following:
1. I will provide a declaration signed by me to confirm my consent for the Home Office to request verification checks
2. Is the account with a bank or utility company for which you have supplied information and supporting documentation held jointly by you and other people?
3. I will provide a declaration signed by each of the other joint customers on an account with a bank or utility company
It asks to submit following additional documents:
a. Consent form for the Home Office to request verification checks on (main applicant) for joint accounts or third party support.
b. Declaration signed by (main applicant) to confirm consent for the Home Office to request verification checks
However, please can you let me know where do get these documents and how we submit it as I did not find the documents so far as part of online application?
Regards
R

When you fill the online form, at the end of it, it gives you a link to download and sign this. It has 3 parts but you have to sign whichever part is relevant to you. Once you fill it you can upload it with your documents.

Hi
Many thanks for the reply.
Does that link after making the payment? As I have not found it under 'documents' and 'declaration' tabs.
Thanks

No it comes before the payment. The section says “declaration”
However, when I was filling the online form it said you can ALSO download the link after you make the payment.

Hi,
Following is all I see with hyperlinks for the text highlighted in red. I see no link for the 'consent' form.

it also says you can download it after you make the payment. Are you filling out SET (O) online form or any other form? This is SET (O) btw

It automatically chose set(o) after initially screening e.g. which migration category etc.
I am bit surprised why it does not show me any attachment under 'declaration' tab.
BTW, I am unable to see your attachment due to some restriction, I guess

I have now found these documents as part of online application, same place where you have shown it.
Since I will be applying (as main applicant) along with my spouse (as dependent), and we will be submitting join utility bills and other documents, I believe I will Part 1 and my spouse will sign Part 2 of the consent form?
Nothing to be done for Part 3 as no sponsor is required for ILR through tier 2 (general) 5 year route?

Great. I dont have access to the part 3 atm plus I am not aware of this Tier 2 category. But I suppose it clearly states who/when to sign.

Hi
I am applying for ILR using set(O) for myself (main applicant) along with spouse and one kid (dependent).
I have said NO to Does the account with the bank....supporting documentation relate to another person who is to provide you financial support.
But, now my in-house expat care-taker has said I should YES to this consent as I am providing financial support my kid.
Is that right? Would it mean Part 3 of the consent form will also need to be signed? If yes, would it be signed by me?
My understanding is that it is me who is submitting the application for self and dependents. As long as I am not providing bank...or any other documents relating to another person providing me financial support, I should say NO to above consent?
Thanks

Dear board
I have not booked appoint at a sopra center so far and so do not have center's details. However, I am looking to get the employer letter signed today. Can this letter be without center details, and we can simply mention UKVI, or providing center details at the top is absolute essential?
Thanks

Sopra is ONLY a handling agent and NOT HO.
Simply address the letter to :
UK Visa & Immigration
To Whom It May Concern

Set (O) Application

Stating set (o) application would be fine?

If that is what you want to state but not necessary to state the route you are applying as that is evidence by the application form you have submitted.
You are overthinking this.

ILR - add countries before coming to UK
Posted: Wed Dec 26, 2018 11:59 am

Dear board
For the question in ILR form:
'Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK including your country of birth?'
I have listed India from birth to the date I came to UK on tier 2.
It further says to add: Add another country the applicant has visited or lived in - no matter how long you have lived there.
My question is:
If one goes to another country, e.g. USA for 2-3 months or Luxembourg for 2 weeks before coming to UK on tier 2, do these visits need to be listed for the above question?
Thanks
R

You need to list the countries as the question asks.
Also please keep all questions on the same application in one topic.

Assuming its SET(O). The question only asks about countries “lived” in. Not visited. You have incorrectly mentioned the word “visited”. You will only mention countried you have lived in.

Yes, it is set(O)
It does ask:
Add another country the applicant has visited or lived in - no matter how long you have lived there.
I recall you submitted your application recently. What was your situation i.e. did you visit another country before coming to UK?
Thanks
