Hi there,
I came in UK in 2009 with a student visa. Applied asylum before my student
visa ran out and home office gave me LR for 2.5 years considering my family
life in uk. But by the time thay took this decision 6 years has been gone.
Now this September it would be 10 years I am living in UK. Can I apply for
ILR based on I had spent 10 years lawfully in this country?

I have a foundation degree in this country. Do I still need english qualification to apply for ILR?

It has to be equivalent to bachelors degree. Foundation degree is to prepare people to qualify for bachelors degree, aside that you have to stick to the immigration rules and requirements. I have not seen where a foundation degree is accepted or specified to qualify.

You can however send it to NURICS for assessment to be sure you are on the right track.

A NARIC ELA (Red Route) is for a comparison of an overseas degree with the equivalent UK qualification.

At £150, it's the same fee as the B1 English test.
