Visa for over 18 child

Hello all!
I have a very complicated situation, I was hoping if you all could help me.

I had first entered UK with my parents as a tier 2 dependent at the age of 17, later I went back to India to study for my undergrads, while my parents continued to stay here and were granted ILR in 2014.
I came back to UK right after my undergrads in 2016 on tier 4 visa to pursue my masters, and then landed a job later in 2018 and was granted tier 2 visa, I live with my parents atm and I am 26, but I am in full time employment. My current tier 2 visa expires in March, I was wondering if there is anyway I could get to stay back because of my parents ILR. I am the only child of my parents.
I spoke with a solicitor and he said I could possible apply on a human rights ground and prove that I live with my parents and it’s unreasonable for me to go back alone.
I am very worried about this complex situation.
I read on the UKBA website that a over 18 can be a dépendant as long as they don’t lead an indépendant life- where indépendant refers to- no separate family unit, unmarried and lives with parents.
I do meet all this criteria.

Please put in your views.
Thank you

Any help would be highly appreciated

.
Not really as you are now an adult, not a child under 18 and have a valid visa route. Your best option is to stay on tier 2 till you qualify for ILR. There is no shortcut for you.

Even on human rights application?
There is no absolute chance.

It is a very difficult route to get and would be a 10 year route to ILR (4 x 2.5 year visas) and as you have not lived in the UK for a substantial part of your life and you are an adult with a work permit visa that is valid, you won't be considered a dependent.

Thank you for your response. My current tier 2 expires in March and my company is not willing to extend it. So I would need to return in that case.

Why can't you find another sponsor and apply for a visa within the UK to change employers?

Trust me I have been trying to do that for the last one year but it’s so difficult to convince someone for sponsorship, they just don’t want to do it. I appear for interviews and then as soon as they find out that I need sponsorship they dodge me around.
