Dear Gurus,
I have an employee, his contract is from 1/7/2018 to 31/7/2019, his hourly rate is £8 from 1/7/2018 to 31/3/2019, and £8.5 from 1/4/2019 to 31/7/2019.
How to fill the form SET(O) for tier 1 Ent. with using two hourly rates for the same employee.

Thanks

Unfortunately the form only allows to input 1 hourly rate. You will have to clarify and provide other hourly rate in your cover letter.

Can I separate into two employees (same employee in two tables)

Table 1:
Employee's name
Start 1/7/2018 End 31/3/2019 the rate £8

Table 2:
Employee's name
Start 1/4/2019 End 31/7/2019 the rate £8.3

There is no table in the online form. But you can list the same employee as twice as you listed above. Should be okay. Or just clarify in the cover letter

The online form asks you about the job first and then which employee you want to add for that job. Then asks you about the start date and end dates (if any). So you can add the same employee twice with different dates and hourly rate but can be a little confusing.

OR

just add once and clarify in cover letter

Two period of work with two different hourly rates by one person must be treated as two separate employment periods

Dear Zimba,

Please note:
It is one period of work with two different hourly rates, the work is continuous.

Thanks

As I said it has to be treated as two separate ones. With the old paper form, we used to say to enter two periods on two separate lines in one table
