Hi All
For ILR under Tier 2 General, in the letter from the employer does we need to specify that the salary needs to pay in the foreseeable future as its in the guidance as below in the

245HF. Requirements for indefinite leave to remain as a Tier 2 (General) Migrant or Tier 2 (Sportsperson) Migrant

(c) The Sponsor that issued the Certificate of Sponsorship that led to the applicant’s last grant of leave must: (i) still hold a Tier 2 Sponsor licence in the relevant category, or have an application for a renewal of such a licence currently under consideration by the Home Office; and
(ii) certify in writing: (1) that he still requires the applicant for the employment in question for the foreseeable future,
(2) the gross annual salary paid by the Sponsor, and that this salary will be paid for the foreseeable future,

Yes.
Thanks CR001.

One more question, does we need to show one month payslip or 3 months payslips.

I am planning to submit online application after 23rd January, can I submit last month December payslip or need to submit January payslip as well.

1 should be fine with bank statement but most submit 3 months.

Your most recent payslip and bank statement cannot be older than 28 days.

I was planning to apply on 23rd Jan, but Its seems that best date will be then 28th Jan, so that I can get January Payslip and also the salary will be replicated in Bank Statement.

Sorry for that.

My Application is based on Tier 1 G + Tier 2 G and ILR 5 years counting from 20th Feb 2014 to 20th Feb 2019. in 2014 I was out of the country for 4 and half months which is less than 180 days in that year specific or rolling year. Does this should be ok.

I have one more question that back in 2014 when I was on Tier 1 G Visa, I was out of the UK for 130 Days due to the sickness of my son who was out of the UK and his Treatment was going on there. Also I has to arrange their visa as well to come to UK. As the absence was less then 180 days, does this will affect ILR. I don't have any leave more then 180 days in any consecutive 12 months in these last 5 years.

Tier 2 G Form Query : Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK Including your country of Birth

Hi All
I am filling the Set (o) Form for Tier 2 G and have below question.

Have you previously lived in a country outside the UK Including your country of birth?

Does it means that we need to give all information from birth till these 5 years. As back in 2003 I was here in UK as Student till 2006, does we need to mentioned that as well or not, as it says outside the UK.

Also if we visit some country on short trip of 1 to 3 weeks, does we need to mentioned that as well.

Thanks

This question currently has me confused as well. I am applying for ILR via Tier 2 which was granted in Jan 2014, but I first came to the UK in August 2005 on a student visa. After my undergraduate ended, I returned to the US for 9 months then returned again on another student visa in August 2010, then after my studies was granted a PSW Visa and then the Tier 2. But because of the way the question is asked, I feel like I need to mention exactly when I lived out of the UK, regardless of which visa I was on when I was the UK.

So what I have currently put down in my DOB to the date to the date I moved for my undergraduate, then the dates 9 month period between me moving back to the US after my graduation and me coming back again into the UK. In the text boxes provided I explain exactly that above (born and raised then came for uni, returned to live in the states then returned for more uni then got a PSW and then Tier 2).

If anyone has any insights on how to answer this question, I would really appreciate it. I did call the helpline on a few different occasions regarding this question and most of the people I spoke to didn't even realise this question existed on the form which was less than helpful.

The question asks about “living” “outside” UK including your country of birth. You have to mention only countries where you lived for example work, study etc excluding UK. Short visit trips is NOT living there.

I dont think they will count as “living in” as you were residing in saudia that time.
However, as an educated guess I would assume anything which is related to work I would mention it. I would not bother any tourism visits.

Urgent Help please :Salary Increment not updated via SMS Re: Question in ILR via Tier 2 General

Hi All/tier11417/CR001
As I am planning to apply ILR on combination of Tier2 and Tier1 and was planning to submit online on 25th Jan but today my employer informed me that my salary increment has not been updated by SMS system to the home Office.

I got Tier 2 back in 2017 Jan and same month my annual increment happened as well and again my increment happened last year 2018 November. Both of these are not updated via SMS. My Salary was already much more then the required £36500 when we apply for CoS.

Does this will affect my ILR Application or not. Does any one has any experience with this.

Please I need urgent help.

Thanks

If the increase was part of the whole company annual increases, ie. it was NOT only you that got one but everyone did, then no need to update SMS.

Yes it was whole company increments but different employee got different increment from 2% to 6%.

One more question that I have changed my home but now came to know that we need to update home address to home office as well. does this will make a problem as my plan date for ILR is 25th Jan 19 while I changed the home last year in May.

Dear moderators/Senior members CR001/Tier11417
Along with above question as the salary was paid for most of the employee but with different percentage.

Regarding the question for the period before you was grant Tier 2 visa documents showing that you have met the relevant requirements of the immigration rule.
What we need to provide in this proof. Does I need to provide the Tier1 BRP as I was on tier 1.

Thanks

I dont really get your question? You mean you changed your home in May 2018? Why would that be a problem? You just need to give your current address.

I changed the home back in 2018 May but didn't update the my home address to the home office, as I saw posts online that As Tier 2 G when we change home address we need to update with Home Office.
I saw one online link and just update now, but not sure this will affect my ILR application or not.

Hi CR001, Casa, vinny and all Respected members.

I have below query regarding the Set(o) apply ILR via Tier 2 G. Please need your help.

Regarding the question for the period before you was grant Tier 2 visa documents showing that you have met the relevant requirements of the immigration rule.

1)What we need to provide in this proof. Does I need to provide the Tier1 BRP as I was on tier 1.

2) Do we need to submit copy of the CoS Certificate as well with application or no need for that.
