Hi all,

I have some queries related to ILR Set (LR) application. I am currently on Tier 2 visa (expires in Aug) and i came into the country on 07th Feb 2009. Below are my queries

Queries related to application form can i please get an idea of the below questions and what need to be answered as the questions are bit confusing

1.Can i apply for ILR Set (LR) now before my current visa expires?

2.Do you have any family in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years

3.Do you have any friends in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years

4.Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth , nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years

5.Do you have any Home office reference numbers? What does that mean is it BRP reference number (there is a different field for BRP)

6.Do you have other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK
For example evidence of an active relationship with a child or parent or medical evidence such as evidence of serious health.

7.What document do i need to submit "my other reasons to stay in the UK" If i mention work as the answer for above question (6). Do i need to submit employer letter as the document for other reasons.

Please help me out with the responses.

Yes, assuming you are eligible otherwise

2.Do you have any family in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years
3.Do you have any friends in your country of birth, nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years
4.Are you part of any social groups or do you have other cultural ties in your country of birth , nationality or any other country where you have lived for more than 5 years

Answer them accordingly. They are not important

5.Do you have any Home office reference numbers? What does that mean is it BRP reference number (there is a different field for BRP)

Ignore that

6.Do you have other reasons for wanting to stay in the UK

No need for employment evidence. Just passports, LIUK pass certificate, English language evidence
