Tier 1 General Dependant Enquiry

Hi,

I am on dependant visa of Tier 1 General . I obtained my first visa as spouse of tier 1 general in January 2014, which is due for ILR in couple of days after 5 years period. Though my husband got his settlement in Feb 2015 and British Naturalisation in 2016, but I extended my visa on my old route as a dependant of Tier 1 General.

My questions are:

What are the mandatory requirements in terms of supporting documents for ILR in my case?

Which form I need to use? SET (M) or SET (O)?

I am receiving Child Benefit and working tax credit, would there be any impact of that on my application?

Can I use my bank statement in which child benefit comes to prove maintenance requirement of £630 for 90 days?

How much is the fees for premium service in this category?

Plus add in reply anything important which is relevant to me but I could not mention in my email.

I would really appreciate for your prompt reply.

Thanks

Saima

The online process will tell you what you need.

SET O
I am receiving Child Benefit and working tax credit, would there be any impact of that on my application?

You should not be claiming benefits in only your name. Your visa clearly says 'No Recourse to Public Funds'. Your British partner MUST claim in THEIR name for child benefits and tax credits MUST be claimed in JOINT names with your partner.

There is NO maintenance fund for ILR.
How much is the fees for premium service in this category?
There is no longer a same day premium service.

Hi CR001!

Many thanks for your reply. To further clarify, my husband has applied for both child tax and child tax credit, but have to mention my name as a part of application. The child benefit comes into my account, while child tax credit into his account. After I filled online form, HO wants to see benefit letter as a part of supporting documents.

So now what you advise would it still affect my application? if yes? what is the best way forward?

Second the appointments for premium service are only available in Glasgow. Is there any specific time when appointments can be booked?

Thanks for your assistance.
