Hello all,

My wife joined me in the UK in August 2013. We were on 5 years route FLR (M) on our 1st extension we were converted to 10 years route on the basis of my child an family life. In December 2018 we converted our category back to FLR (M) which means the 5 year period is reset and she has to wait for another 5 years for ILR. Her visa expires on 14/06/2021 and then we need another 2.5 years extension for ILR.

I am working in Dubai and my family (2 kids - British Nationals and wife) moved with me, If she is outside the UK for more than 6 months will it be a problem for ILR ? she is my dependant and not sure if 180 days outside UK law affects her as well ?

Worse case I have to send them back to UK before 180 days which isn't ideal for me and our financial situation.

There is no 180 days absence limit for her visa category.

Note that for ILR, she requires evidence of UK residence.

thanks CROO1

we have multiple proof of residences in UK

1. Water Bill
2. Electricity Bill
3. House Mortgage
4. Joint Bank Accounts
5. Council Tax

We own house and go UK for short trips every 3 months, would the above details satisfy evidences of UK residence ?
