Tier 2 Absence Letter

Hi there,

I am currently applying for the ILR (Tier 2 Route) having spend 5 years in the UK.
I am a little bit concerned as at my first employer, I had a couple of study leave (was only around 5-6 days) which I performed abroad (for a professional qualification). I'm not sure if my employer will accept to put that in the absence letter as they can only put annual leave absences. There was no clear rule that said you had to do it within the UK but they would usually rather you stayed inside the UK when studying.

I'm a bit concerned that this make me ineligible. Any advice would be appreciated.

They should mention the study leave

Absence Letter from Previous Employers

Hi all,

I'm having an issue as my previous employer are refusing to provide the absence letter due to their policy. They provided a reference that says when I started/left them but that's about it. I can obtain a holiday statement but that would exclude work trips
Does this impact my eligibility?

If they are less than 30 days per year, do not bother

When I did mine, my previous firm refused to even confirm the dates I took as annual leave.

I just took a print out of that email conversation with the firm , along with a cover letter. Had no issues. If they are not too many days, don't think it should be an issue.
