Proving accommodation for ILR set m

My wife has completed the on line application for ILR set m.

On uploading documents in the section for mandatory documents it requests ID of the person e.g. passport copy, who owns and is providing her accommodation.

My wife works as a housekeeper on a large estate where she is provided with a flat. Although her employer's letter confirms accommodation is provided free of charge with her job and is owned by his company.

It is proving difficult to supply the employer's photo ID i.e. Passport copy.

Any suggestions around this problem or can I hope that the Home Office will recognize the difficulty of obtaining the passport copy of her employer.

Thank you.

I think this counts as renting and rent is kind of included as part of her salary. So I think you can write a cover letter explaining that accommodation is included in her remuneration package and employer's letter confirms it. Don't think you need to provide photo id of employer.

Presumably you also have evidence of cohabitation addressed to both you at the address??

Thank you to both replies.

I did hope that the employer letter stating accommodation is part of the job and owned by the company but wanted reassuring. Employment contract also states accommodation is provided for named husband.

Yes I have detailed letters and documents confirming cohabitation. Although this didn't prove easy as no rent book, no service bills, council tax as these are paid for by the employer
