Dear senior members,
I currently have an ILR BRP. I have been living outside UK since obtaining it in 2014. I have not lived outside UK for more than 2 yrs at a time.
My question is, will renewing my ILR BRP card which expires in 2024 be a problem if I live mostly abroad?
I am worried that HO may revoke my status if I live abroad most of the time than in UK. Do I need to reside in the UK to mitigate this risk?

Your advise will be most appreciated

These two statements seem to contradict one another. You either live in the UK or you don't. Are you only popping in to 'visit' the UK hoping to maintain your ILR status??

Yes, as HO will expect to see documentary evidence of your UK residence for the whole period since ILR was granted. Remember that they have full details of your departure and arrival in the UK if you only visit for brief periods.

The requirement for ILR is to LIVE and be SETTLED in the UK.
