ILR TIER 2_Proof of Absence

Hi guys,
Sorry to trouble you. Just a quick question regarding a paid sickness leave of mine last year.

I took 8 days paid sickness leave plus 9 days paid annual leave to China where I received a minor operation. The operation itself was recommended by the hospital in the UK(I have a doctor letter with some details) but I decided to take it at home with my family around. It was discussed with & approved by my doctor & my company(sponsor of Tiere 2) verbally.

I will put a note in the Absence letter to explain & it will be signed off by my company but I also wonder if I need to prove the sickness leave by submitting any documentation from the hospital. I did some searches in the boards & online but can't seem to find the answer.

(I am applying ILR via Tier 2 General. My total days of absence is 150 in five years & it also has no problem to meet the requirement of no more than 180 days on any rolling 12 months.)

Many thanks for your time! Any help would be much appreciated.

As long as it is covered in your employer letter it is enough.

Confused why you need to explain the illness differently unless it affects your pay or absence limit out of UK.

Just take an absence letter for all 150 days and that should be it.

Thank you so much for the advice!
Sorry for the confusion. It is because I thought the paid sickness leave is different from the usual paid annual leave or business leave and it is in addition to my annual holiday entitlement. So I am also confused and unsure what to do with it.
